THE MARKET SQUARE PROJECT

A revitalised Market Square and market is part of Northampton Borough Council's ambition to create a more vibrant town centre and increase the number of people visiting, shopping and working in the town. More information on the project can be viewed here.

The Borough Council held an exhibition on the Market Square on the 18 to 21 February 2009 to explain to the public what is happening on the Market Square and to gather their views on events, food and designs they would like to see in the Market Square and entrance area. Thank you to all of you who took part in the questionnaires. NBC will be taking these ideas into consideration when deciding upon types of food that will be available in the Market Square and the events which will take place. 111 responses were received and the results can be viewed here.
